This growth comes as the sector continues a major transition following the end of passenger vehicle manufacturing in Victoria.
This ability to adapt and deliver a strong performance reflects the resilience of the sector and the positive effects of government programs like the Future Industries Manufacturing Program and the Local Industry Fund for Transition.
These programs have delivered A$100 million in manufacturing support, creating over 3,500 jobs and driving more than A$1.2 billion in private investment.
