Rosterfy has successfully powered the Houston Super Bowl volunteer program with their workforce scheduling platform, Rosterfy

(AUSTRALIA 2017)

During the Super Bowl 51 Volunteer Workforce Program, the Rosterfy system managed, 32,187 applicants, 20,029 interview invites, 10,000 volunteer schedules, 25,079 individual shifts, 140,442 hours of volunteer time. It has been hailed as the best co-ordinated volunteer workforce program in Super Bowl history.

Rosterfy, is a spin off company from Event Workforce Group (EWG), a Melbourne sports, events and entertainment workforce solutions start-up, that has provided temporary staff to major sporting and live events in Australia since 2010. As that business evolved, the company developed workforce management software, Rosterfy, to help manage their 20,000 strong database and growing portfolio of over 1,000 events per year.

We could have only developed such a solution in Melbourne. With Melbourne's deep sporting and event calendar coupled with technology capability, the sporting capital was the perfect place to develop, test and refine our solution. Being a startup here has definitely helped us test and refine our software with a number of smaller event organisers before we started to export internationally. This has definitely been a huge advantage as we have scaled.

In 2016, EWG was selected as one of nine tech startup businesses by the Australian Government's 2016 Landing Pad initiative. Following this, the company set up in San Francisco to introduce EWG to potential US partners, cities and universities.

In just three months the company secured multi-year contracts with cities and major event organisers, growing our revenue forecast by 300 per cent on previous years.
