A leading Indian IT solutions provider has announced Melbourne to set up its Australia and New Zealand headquarters, creating new jobs and providing integrated IT solutions to businesses across the region.
Melbourne will join a growing global network for Sedin Technologies including India, Canada and United States, solidifying Victoria’s position as leader in the tech sector.
The move strengthens the company’s existing relationship with Australia, with market growth being a key driver for establishing a physical presence across Asia Pacific.
Victoria’s world-class talent pool and strong business economy were significant factors for the company who have already appointed Melbourne-based Managing Director, Steve de Mamiel to build a local Victorian team of 37 fulltime staff over five years.
Invest Victoria assisted Sedin in its investment journey by providing insights into the state’s business environment to help the company understand the market potential and opportunities that exists in Victoria.
