Sonata Software, a leading modernisation engineering company, is expanding its global footprint here in Melbourne. It will set up a new Centre of Excellence to meet the growing demand for generative AI and data solutions. The centre will create around 100 high-skilled jobs over the next three years, while positioning the company for broader growth.

The Victorian Government, through Invest Victoria played a pivotal role in attracting Sonata Software to the state by providing:
- strategic insight into the local talent pool
- introductions to universities and senior education and government officials
- introductions to the Victorian Government’s Digital Jobs Program.
These connections will enable the company to establish the ongoing pipeline of talent they need.
