Opening its doors in 2020, London College of Garden Design Melbourne will offer a unique Garden Design Diploma program, which will be led by award winning designer Brent Reid, and supported by practicing design, horticulture and technical professionals.
London College of Garden Design UK Director Andrew Fisher Tomlin said Melbourne was a compelling option given its rich pedigree in landscape design.
Australia quickly became a priority when we started looking at international expansion and Victoria in particular because of the natural affinity with gardens and landscape. Melbourne is the centre of the landscape profession and the natural home for us.“There is a vibrant arts and design scene here as well as an understanding of the important role that gardens play in the Australian enthusiasm for outdoor living and for green city spaces.
Mr Fisher Tomlin
