The new hub will be a regional centre of excellence for advanced data and AI capabilities.
The investment marks the first time Fever will establish a data analytics and AI hub outside its Madrid base, demonstrating a continued confidence in Victoria’s skilled workforce and digital technologies sector.
Melbourne is already a world-class destination, and now it will play a pivotal role in shaping how people discover and experience entertainment across APAC. Establishing our first data and AI hub outside Madrid is a significant milestone for Fever, reflecting our confidence in Victoria’s exceptional talent and our ambition to use technology to make culture more accessible, support local creators, and bring cities to life
Building regional capability from Melbourne
Fever is the world’s leading tech platform for live entertainment and culture, inspiring over 300 million people last year to discover experiences across more than 55 countries, from immersive exhibitions and sport to theatre, museums, concerts and festivals. Its technology uses data and AI to connect people with experiences that are relevant to them and help its partners, from event organisers and venues to cultural institutions and sports properties, reach new audiences and develop new experiences.
With support from Invest Victoria for its expansion, Fever will deliver AI-powered insights, forecasting and data analysis across the Asia-Pacific from Melbourne, supporting its growth across the region and helping millions of people discover experiences in their cities and giving its local partners a better understanding of their audiences.
From ANZ headquarters to Asia-Pacific centre of excellence
In 2024, the Victorian Government supported Fever to establish its Australia and New Zealand headquarters in Melbourne, helping the company deepen its local operations and bring more world-class experiences to Victoria. Such experiences include Bubble Planet: An Immersive Experience in Brunswick, The Art of Banksy exhibition in Docklands, and the upcoming Treasures of Tutankhamun experience, scheduled to launch at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) in December 2026.
A platform for growth in a leading events market
Fever’s expansion builds on Melbourne’s position as Australia’s events and cultural capital, with Victoria’s major events calendar generating $3.64 billion in economic impact in 2025, attracting close to 8 million attendances and supporting almost 17,000 jobs.
Investing in Victoria
Fever’s new hub is being supported through the $150 million Victorian Investment Fund, which is attracting high-value investments that create skilled jobs, accelerate innovation and drive Victoria’s long-term economic growth.
